San Diego Miniature Crafters offer three ways to expand your know-how, whether you are a beginner or have some experience.
2013 Workshops will be offered. These all day classes will be taught by the best in mini-making. You will need a basic toolbox and a sack lunch. We will start 9:00 am. Workshop options for 2013 will be announced soon!
New for 2013:
“Early Bird Special” We are happy to offer an early bird workshop Sunday morning at the Al Bahr Shrine Center! We’ll start at 9:00 am and be done in time to enjoy a full day of mini browsing and shopping. 2013 Special: to be announced soon!
At the show: “Introduction to Mini Making” a one hour class for those adults new to the craft. 2012 attendees made a darling Attic Chest – complete with a beloved teddy bear and other assorted keepsakes. The 2013 class will be a Flower Garden in a Rock Border. Cost is only $5. Saturday & Sunday 2pm – 3pm. All materials will be provided, register at Ticket Sales, minimum age 13, class size is limited. Also offered at the show: “Kids’ Class” for those miniaturists 8 -12 years old. This free class is always a winner. Designed especially for little hands, each child will complete a miniature project to take home. 2012 kids made a Pirate’s Treasure Chest complete with pirate loot! The 2013 class will appeal to the outdoor spirit! Camping! Saturday & Sunday 1pm – 2pm. Kids should sign up early at Ticket Sales as space is limited. Photo will be posted soon.
