A note in the midst of CoVid-19

Life has changed more than we could ever have imagined when we said goodbye in San Diego last February. So many shows have been cancelled or postponed! With the uncertainty of Covid-19, we’d like to share our plans for the 47th Annual Miniatures Show & Sale February 2021.

We are moving forward with plans to host our traditional show, although we may have to make adjustments closer to the date as we have no way of knowing what the guidelines will be. San Diego Marriott Del Mar will be a good partner in navigating the best and safest way to host our popular event.

Our marketing campaign is continuing with regular posting on Instagram along with Facebook. 

Currently San Diego Marriott La Jolla is not able to move forward with our room block so it is not yet possible to make reduced rate reservations. Please be patient as we navigate the challenges of working with reduced hotel staffing. As soon as we can confirm the rates we will email those on our vendor list and post here.

Rest assured, we understand the challenges vendors are facing in this climate. If we need to make changes (example: reduce the number of tables a vendor may reserve to meet social distancing guidelines) or postpone our event, the fees you have paid will be credited to 2021 or refunded.

We are committed to hosting a miniatures event in San Diego February 6 & 7, 2021! We’d like it to look just like last year, but we are flexible and will be ready for whatever guidelines must be met from social distancing to online Make & Takes, Exhibits and Sales. 

We’re excited to meet challenges the 21st century has tossed at us. One thing is certain, miniatures are great fun when you must stay safe at home for an extended time and we’re all ready to resupply our stashes plus see what’s new!
