These workshops will be February 6, 2026 at the University of San Diego – Hahn University Center.
This year there are four options for adult workshops taught by talented and experienced instructors. All adult workshops are 1:12 scale.

Workshop #1 LOBSTER DINNER FOR TWO, Karen’s Dollhouse Shop; Karen Aird Instructor
8am – 12pm February 6, 2026
Beer or wine with your lobster? You don’t need to choose, you’ll make both! Class will start by painting lobsters for cooking and serving a dinner for two. Platters will include the lobster, lemon and garnish. Students will also learn how to use resin for the pot, wine and beer…along with all Karen’s secrets for successfully using resin. Table not included….$125
Tools needed: Pointy tweezers, a container to take the project home and an extra plastic lid (sour cream size) to make something fun at the end of class!
Workshop #2 A DASHING YOUNG MAN, My Dolly’s Bebe; Maria Ray Instructor
8am – 12pm February 6, 2026
Is your mini-lady lonely? Forget dating apps! Come to Maria’s class to create this dashing young man to be her special guy. Class includes a 6” porcelain man, all material, patterns and detailed instructions…..$110
Tools needed: basic sewing kit with black and white thread and craft glue.
WORKSHOP #3 BOOKCASE WITH MINIATURE BOOKS, Melvin’s Miniatures; Kelly Trichter Instructor

Enjoy making this stylish bookcase complete with miniature books…..$110
Tools needed: glue, paint brushes, choice of paint color for the cabinet, tweezers, craft knife, cutting mat, scissors, pen and ruler.
WORKSHOP #4 COLD PORCELAIN TEA SET, Betinha Murta Miniatures; Betinha Murta Instructor
1pm – 5pm Friday, February 6, 2026
Betinha will teach you how to work with cold porcelain, a safe and easy air dried clay. The class will create a beautiful tea set with flowers and a hummingbird…..$130
Tools needed: tweezers, tacky glue, #0 brush, scissors, green acrylic paint and your personal tools.

2026 Make’n Take Workshop for young mini-makers, it’s a picnic!
What’s a Make’n Take for kids? An opportunity to introduce kids to mini making!
These Make’n Take Workshops are designed for children 8-12, the child may be asked to show their wristband.
This Make’n Take Workshop is FREE. Class is limited to 12 students.
Registration must be done in person at the Workshop Table under the archway in the sales room. First-time-first-served seating.
Classes begin at the top of each hour. Saturday’s first workshop will be 11am and last at 4pm. First workshop on Sunday will be 12 noon and the last will be 3pm. Projects will alternate between a tiny sandwich on a plate and a slice of sponge cake on a plate.
